Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev (sound Nursultan Nazarbayev, born July 6, 1940, village Chemolgan, Kaskelen district, Alma-Ata region) is a Soviet and Kazakh state and political figure, the current president of Kazakhstan since April 24, 1990.
