Тom: Have you heard the news about David?

Harriet: No, what has happened?

Tom: He has had an accident. He was walking down some steps, he has fallen and broken his leg.

Harriet: Oh, how awful! When did it happen?

Tom: Yesterday afternoon. Melanie told me about it last night, and you didn't tell me!

Tom: Well, I didn't see you last night. And I haven't seen you today, until now.

Harriet: I hope he's all right. We have had lots of accidents, you know. He had the same thing about two years ago.
