Winter holidays begin at the end of December and last about two weeks. During winter holidays, there are such holidays as New Year and Christmas. Some people believe that the New Year and Christmas are family holidays and we have to celebrate them at home. However, many people like to spend their winter holidays somewhere far from home)
In winter, many people travel to Carpathians because they like skiing. So am I. I adore skiing because it’s so exciting to slide downhill on skis at a very high speed! That’s why I begin to dream about winter holidays in Carpathians from the very beginning of autumn. Usually we go to Carpathians with my parents and friends and rent a small house in one of Carpathian villages.
There are many mountain ski resorts in Carpathians, for example Slavsk, Bukovel, Migovo, Dragobrat and others. These ski resorts are being actively developed. New modern elevators, hotels, cafes and restaurants are being built, new slopes are provided. I’ve been to Slavsk, Bukovel and Dragobrat. I like Bukovel the best because it has many different slopes and trails, the most modern elevators and the best-developed infrastructure!
