The weather in Germany is very changeable. There are 3 types of climate in Germany: moderately continental, sea climate and mountainous climate. In the zone with continental climate summer is usually hot and short, but winter is long and cold. In summer the temperature is about 20 up to 30 degrees above zero; not much rain and in winter there are heavy snowfalls; the temperature is 20 degrees below zero. In the zone with maritime (sea) climate the weather is unpridictable. Tourist season starts in May and lasts up to October. In spring and in autumn in the morning it can be rainy (you should always have an umbrella with you) In the afternoon the sun can shine and the sky is usually cloudless. In the evening it can be foggy and cloudy. In winter it is not very cold but rather windy. In the mountainous region in Germany the weather in September is warm, in October it's rainy and foggy. You should have warm clothes in the mountains. It's nice to ski there during warm days in winter.
