"Modern kids become mature very slowly in comparison even to the recent past"... I absolutely agree here. There are several reasons why is it so. The first one is that nowadays parents don't let their kids stay alone. They either take a babysitter, or don't work themselves and follow their kids everywhere. The second reason is that kids are controlled every minute. Parents call them on their cellphones and ask them what they do and where they go. So kids don't even have an opportunity to make their own decisions. That's why they mature very slowly. It.s my point of view.
