Traditions play an important role in our life. of course nowadays there are many inventions, many ways to do everything using modern devices. but still plenty of people can't accept them. I don't know may be they are afraid of something new. they say the shortest way is the way you know. so i think they just want to be sure in what they do. they don't want to look silly if something goes wrong. they want to get the usual result. And one more thing - almost every person cares of what people say. even if you want to try something new and you believe that you are right in your decision, be sure - there are several people around you who will make you change your mind. so i think there are two serious problems - people are still afraid of new things and they used to listen to other people but not themselves.
