England declared the rights for territories in North America in 1497, but only a century later saved up enough material and human resources to found constant settlements in the New World. Within 16 century population of England and Wales almost doubled so colonization began to be considered as panacea from "overpopulation" and means of disposal of the country of "hordes of importunate beggars". But advocates of colonization had also more effective incentive - infinite amount of gold and silver, the Indians got by Spain as a result of the most severe operation in Mexico and Peru. At last, the growing economic power of England and increase in mass of the investment capital provided a financial basis of colonization. The pioneer settlement in Virginia was subsidized with group of the London merchants. Colonization was blessed by Anglican church. Рада
