It is a large political, industrial, cultural and scientific centre. Kyiv has a population of about 3 million people. I must say Kyiv is famous for its beauty. The city is very green, in summer it looks like a huge park. The streets of Kyiv are broad and straight. There are a lot of chestnut trees and flowers in it. The main street is Kreshchatik. If I am not mistaken the street is only one kilometer long but it is very impressive. Kyiv is rich in museums and theatres. There are many bridges over the Dnipro. My favourite bridge is Paton bridge. In the city of Kyiv there are many places of interest: the Golden Gate, Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, St Sophia Cathedral. So I must say Kyiv as a beautiful city. It is the pride and glory of Ukraine.
