Last year my wife and l (go)1 to a friend's wedding in ltaly. We (drive)2 to Sorrento and then, after the wedding,we (do)3 some sightseeing and (take)4some photographs. It (be)5 quite hot and we (decide)6 to go to a beach outside the city. We (change) 7 into our swimsuits and (leave)8 our clothes, passports and camerasin the car in the car park. We (spend) 9 the day on the beach. When we (get) 10 back to the car park at four o'clock, we (can) 11 not find the car. We (have) 12 nothing except our swimsuits and a litte money. We (buy)13 some cheap clothes to wear and (tell)14 the police. They (find) 15 the car two days later quite near the beach. Our passports, clothes and even our cameras (be)16 in the car - and a note which (say) 17! Thanks for the ride! We (like)18 the car very much. Ciao!
