The area is so peculiar due to the mountains, approaching close to the river and forming a winding canyon. Its total length is 155 miles (250 km). At the foot of the canyon are villages and towns, which are also rich in architectural monuments: prehistoric caves, ancient churches, numerous waterfalls, healing springs and fascinating parks. It is not surprising, that Dniester Canyon area is one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine.
