Terry It's the best musical I've ever seen.
Jane Really? I've seen the film, but I can't
imagine it as a musical. I mean, it
explores quite difficult topics.
Terry That's true, but I think the songs
actually help with that. The writing
was very clever. The only thing
that didn't really work was… well,
sometimes the actors tried to be
funny, and I don't think they always
managed it
Jane Oh well, you can't have everything.
Did you at least see some amazing
ballet?
Terry Of course! The dancing was very
impressive -especially the leading
actor's. I always think of ballet as
slow and calm, but he was just so
energetic.

Charles I went to see Beauty and the Beast at
the theatre. Have you seen it?
Gina No. I'd love to but… well, you know
how it is…
Charles Yeah, the tickets aren't cheap.
Gina That's not it, I just never have time to
go out
Charles Oh… I think the theatre has a morning
performance too, if that's any help.

Not really work all day, Then,
when I get home, I'm too tired to do
anything but relax and watch TV.
Charles I wish they filmed more musicals,

Then you could watch it on DVD at
home.
That would be great! It's so silly that
they don't do that more often.

long time since we last went to the
theatre.

Claire Look, Full Blast are playing at Lockley
Ken
Stadium tonight. You love rock
concerts.
I know, but a colleague of mine saw
them yesterday and she said they
were horrible.
Claire Too bad.

Maybe a play isn't a bad idea after all.
Claire Great! And we can book the tickets
online.
