Thanksgiving Day is a family celebration. It is celebrated
the 4th Thursday of November. It is a special day for all American families. This day family members gather for dinner. It is a family reunion day and children do not go to school! Every year my grandparents come from Florida to
this day together. Mom cooks a roast turkey, Indian corn and a pumpkin pie which is the main dish of Thanksgiving. I help her to lay the table and decorate it with flowers and candles. After dinner we watch a football game and look through our photo album. Then, my grandpa tells stories about
. My grandparents say that we should keep this tradition. This day all family members say thanks for everything good they have and say “sorry”.
