Even at all times, man lives in close contact with nature, uses its riches and influences nature through his activities. Human influence on nature can cause harmful consequences. The state always issues certain legal provisions to protect the natural environment from such harmful actions. A set of norms (rules) aimed at protecting the natural environment from harmful human actions is called environmental law. As a result of the harmful effects of man on nature, the environmental situation in the world declined dramatically in the middle of the XX century. The environmental situation has deteriorated so much that today it poses a serious threat to human life in some regions of the world.
