1 What is the name of the special holiday?

-My mother said that she especially likes Novruz, which is celebrated on March 21.

2 Where does this special holiday take place?

-It takes place in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Albania, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Turkey, Kazakhstan.

3 What can they see there?

-The custom has been preserved to light ritual bonfires, light torches and candles, paint eggs, sprout grains of wheat or barley and put them on the festive table along with a variety of sweets.

(До наших дней сохранился обычай разжигать ритуальные костры, зажигать факелы и свечи, красить яйца, проращивать зёрна пшеницы или ячменя и ставить их на праздничный стол вместе с разнообразными сладостями.)

4 Why is this interesting to them?

- The fact that this oldest holiday is still celebrated.

5 How will they remember the special holiday?

-They remember everything, so remembering a special holiday is not difficult

6 How many years ago did they visit? OR When would they like to go?

We haven’t visited the holiday party itself, we just celebrated it at home, but we want to go visit some other country as someday,in this special day.
