Yesterday i visited the most popular art gallery in florence which called uffizi where i saw a lot of unforgettable paintings
the birth of venus by sandro botticelli attracts me. the painting was written a the 1486. in the picture we can see four gods. in centre is shown goddess of love – venus. on the left side is shown the god of wide – zephyr and his wife goddess flora. on the other side we can see goddess of spring ora tallo. if we look closely, at the right side ora tallo holds out a rich cloak or dress to cover venus when she reaches the shore.
in the background painter shows a blue sea and flowers.
artist used mostly shades of blue its symbolise festive and cold.
truly i was affected by and this painting, it was inspired me.
